Manufactured to meet BS7491 Parts 1 and 2, using the highest quality GRP materials, ensuring a long service life with minimal maintenance requirements. Grey colour as standard (other RAL or BS colours are available at additional cost). Only materials of the highest quality are used along with a highly efficient manufacturing processes. This combination ensures that these tanks are of the highest quality available.


All internal surfaces, including the lid, have an Isophthalic white gel coat layer which provides a clinical smooth surface which will not support the growth of microbiological organisms. This gel coat layer is reinforced by the main GRP laminate, which provides the main structure of the tank body. The materials used are of the highest quality and applied with exacting production standards to assist in prevention of osmotic blistering. Further reinforcement is provided by square section steel tubing with fully welded corner joints. Steel reinforcement ensures that the softening and general deterioration encountered with timber supports is avoided, thus providing full structural reinforcement for the life of the tank.


After the CFC free PU foam insulation and the steel reinforcement are fitted, the GRP outer skin is then applied. This ensures that both insulation and reinforcement are fully encapsulated and protected from external conditions. The whole tank is then coated with a tack free grey polyester gel coat layer. This ensures that the tanks are suitable for all locations and weather conditions, and can be located outdoors as standard. Where access is a limiting factor and our one piece GRP tanks are unsuitable, a two piece tank could do the trick. These tanks are manufactured in two or more horizontally split sections, which are then assembled once the restriction has passed. In a nutshell, a one piece tank in two or more bolt together sections.


All the components including sealant and fixings for the joint flange are supplied with the tank. The assembly of this range of products could not be easier and should not prove difficult for any competent mechanical services engineer. These two piece tanks allow utilization of the more cost-effective one-piece type tank format, where a considerably more expensive sectional tank would traditionally have been supplied.

The Encapsulated Baseboard will come moulded into the internal base of the tank to become part of the tank's construction and overall strength of the base. This will benefit the tank if it's on uneven surfaces or positioned on raised supports. It will not come supplied as a separate item

Delivery

All our GRP tanks are for delivery by customer offload. This entails the customer to acquire the right manpower and/or machinery to help unload the tank/s from the delivery vehicle. Tank is non-returnable so please confirm order before processing.

If you require assistance with offloading, we may be able to offer a tail lift (lowers the tank to the ground) or HIAB (lorry with a mounted crane to winch the tank off the delivery vehicle). Please contact us if this is required for delivery.

tanks.ie undertakes to attempt to fulfill all orders within a maximum of 7 working days of order acceptance, unless advised otherwise. In the event that any order is delayed, tanks.ie will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage that this delay may cause.

Smaller items (including most accessories and consumables) will normally be despatched by courier.
Larger items (including all storage tanks) will normally be delivered by carrier. 

Kingspan Tanks - Tail-lift deliveries are available for most tanks up to 2,000 Litre capacities for kerbside delivery.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.

Klargester Tanks  - All tanks are delivered on 45ft Flat-bed Articulated Trailers, so off-loading equipment on site is necessary.
HIAB off-loading is available at extra cost, if requested.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.

Harlequin Tanks  - Tail-lift deliveries are available for most tanks up to 2,500 Litre capacities for kerbside delivery subject to availability.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.

Please note that for all items delivered by carrier, normally a truck + 40ft trailer, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure adequate vehicular access and to provide suitable offloading equipment, where required. Please notify us, if this might pose a problem and we will endeavour to facilitate your request. 

ORDER CANCELLATION 

In accordance with Irish and European Union consumer laws, you have seven days after receipt of order to cancel the order in its entirety or any part thereof, providing the goods are in a re-saleable condition. Should you wish to cancel any order, you must first contact sales@tanks.ie for a ‘Returns Authorisation Number’.

After the Returns Authorisation Number has been issued, we will make arrangements with you for the goods to be returned. If you wish tanks.ie to arrange the collection of the goods, please note that a carriage and administration charge will apply, which will not exceed 35% of the gross value of the goods.

Upon return of the cancelled goods to tanks.ie and verification that they are in a re-saleable condition, we will refund the value of the goods, less any collection and administration charges, within 28 days.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS 

If you believe that products you have purchased from tanks.ie are defective, please report this immediately to tanks.ie by e-mail sales@tanks.ie or call 051 351325. 

If they are within the manufacturer’s guarantee period, we will arrange with the manufacturer to replace or repair the goods at the manufacturer’s discretion and consistent with their guarantee. 
Where it is necessary to inspect the goods on site and an inspection proves the fault is neither the fault of tanks.ie, nor the product manufacturer, an inspection charge will apply, which will be advised by the manufacturer prior to site inspection.

Please note that where guarantees are available in excess of those required by law, these are provided at the discretion of the product manufacturer and not tanks.ie. Additionally, tanks.ie will not be liable for any claims for consequential damage or loss.
