The Klargester W1-020 Washdown Separator can be used in areas such as car wash and other cleaning facilities that discharge directly into a foul drain, which feeds into a treatment facility. Such wash down facilities must not be allowed to discharge directly into surface water but must be directed to a foul connection leading to a municipal treatment works as they utilise emulsifiers, soaps and detergents to dissolve and disperse oils.

*DELIVERY TERMS
All tanks are delivered on 45ft Flat-bed Articulated Trailers, so off-loading equipment on site is necessary.
HIAB off-loading is available at extra cost, if requested.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.
Service and Maintenance:
It is essential that you ensure your separator is properly serviced and maintained to remain compliant with EN 858-1 standard and prevent pollution due to blockages. Kingspan's service and maintenance packages have been developed using their expert knowledge of their separators to help keep your separator operating at optimal efficiency, therefore remaining non-polluting and compliant. Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
