Float Switch
The float switch is a level regulator which comes with three different watertight chambers. The float switch is freely suspended with added trim variation.
The float switch is suitable for use in drainage plants, pumping stations and dirty water systems.
Unlike traditional float switches that sit in the water’s surface, the float switch remains underwater. This is thanks to its unique construction which incorporates an integrated counterweight.
The float switch can be used in tandem with an additional unit, allowing you to set levels for minimum and maximum water levels.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
