This riser kit is ideal for bring your septic tank manhole up to finish ground level or when you are refurbishing the existing manhole. There is no need for any heavy block or concrete mix to do this job anymore! This complete riser package includes everything needed to install a septic tank riser system in an application where up to 200 mm of riser is necessary. The riser kits come in two diameters - 500mm or 600mm and from 200mm to 950mm high.

Installation & requirements

OFTEC regulation

All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.

Site requirements

The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.

Bunding requirements

Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
