This UV lamp is to replace the UV lamp for Unit 8gpm. UV lamp required to be changed every 12 months.
Procedure for the UV lamp replacement:
- Disconnect the electrical box from the electrical power supply
- Lift the cover slightly turning, carefully loosen the electrical 4-pins connection and extract the lamp from the quartz sleeve
- Remove the lamp from the packaging, handling it carefully by its ends or using gloves
- Insert the new lamp into the quartz sleeve of the sterilizer
- Connect the lamp to the electrical connection and replace the cover
- Connect the electrical box to the power supply

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
