Electric vane oil pump for transferring medium-viscosity oils up to 500cSt, with high flow-rate.
The Piusi Viscomat 70 Vane oil transfer pump has been designed to transfer large quantities of oil at medium pressure between tanks. This Piusi pump also guarantees good flow rates at high pressure, in applications in which the oil pump must supply hose reels for fixed oil distribution systems. Common features of all Viscomat oil transfer pumps include quiet operation (less than 70dB), smooth flow characterised by the absence of pulsations, closed-delivery operation thanks to the incorporated adjustable bypass, high suction capacity and compact design.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
