The Italian manufactured Piusi Panther 56 is the market leading diesel transfer pump for vehicle refuelling, renowned for its quality and reliability. The Panther 56 is the entry level model in the Piusi mains powered, diesel refuelling pump range and proves most popular for standard diesel dispensing. Compact and easy to install, these electric diesel transfer pumps are ideal for fuel tank dispensers, fixed fuel transfer pump systems and other industrial applications where a reasonable flow rate is required.
This cast iron, rotary vane Piusi pump comes complete with both pump head and motor, an integrated bypass valve and 100 micron internal filter that is easily accessible for cleaning. Thanks to its mechanical seal, this self-priming diesel dispensing pump guarantees reliability, even at low temperatures. Other benefits of the Panther 56 electric fuel transfer pump are its thermal motor overload protection, continuous running and a simple on/off operating switch for easy operation.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
