The Oil Tally domestic heating oil meter is a mechanical display meter designed to measure the amount of fuel oil/kerosene that has been used, primarily in domestic applications. This oil flow meter is very flexible thanks to its 360 degree rotating face and ability to be installed in a horizontal, vertical or inclined position. These fuel flow meters come as standard with 10mm compression fittings.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
