IBC BASE HEATER (0-150°C)
The IBC Base Heater is put under the IBC tank and can be adjusted all the way up to 150°C. The heating element itself is water proof and will work well outside, regardless of the weather, as long as the plug and the controller is protected from direct rain (The heating element is IP64 rated and the controller is IP54 rated).
The IBC Base Heater can be combined with each other, heating or insulating jackets, insulating lids, and/or covers for faster heat up times and better temperature stability.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
