Hytek ATEX Certified 230V Operated Tank Alarm
The Hytek tank alarm can be used wherever a high, low or bund level alarm is required in either vertical or horizontal tanks. Float activated switches detect alarm conditions, a maximum of 3 float switches can be installed, monitoring high, low or bund levels. The tank alarm is suitable for many liquids including diesel, gas oil, oils. Easy installation via a wall mounting bracket & fast wiring using our plug & socket field connections. Switches installed in the main unit allow easy float configuration. Modern, robust & weatherproof to IP55. Supporting the powerful sounder, beacon (mains versions), test & mute buttons & channel indicators. Pushing the test button activates a full system test, checking all float switches installed & all other components, the sounder activates as notification of a successful test. This Hytek tank alarm is a 230V mains powered version.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
