What makes this METER the right choice?
FMT 3 ELECTRONIC FLOW METER
The FMT 3 Electronic Flow Meter is precise, robust and versatile. This new generation electronic flow meter can be used with a wide range of liquids such as fuel oil / diesel, water and antifreeze. The FMT 3 Electronic Flow Meter with illuminated digital display utilises the measurement principle of a turbine wheel counter.
The two-line LED display shows the current dispensed amount, and the total stored volume or 8 partial stored volumes. the display can be mounted to suit the viewing angle or rotated after being installed.
The symmetric measurement chamber allows the device to be used with all flow directions. The measurement precision is better than +/- 1%, the nominal operating pressure is 10 bar and the burst pressure is greater than 20 bar.
Benefits:
- Freely rotational after installation
- Variable display orientation
- Large illuminated display
- Precise measurement - less than +/- 1%
- Shows flow rate
- 6 digit display
- Burst pressure of 20 bar

OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
