The Polylok Effluent Filter Station offers a ‘connect and go’, highly effective, filtration solution that upgrades existing tanks with 1.6mm filtration. A fully assembled solution when existing tanks are inaccessible for filter installation. Simply add after the tank and pre-distribution of wastewater. Installation at outlet of a new or existing septic tank or a new or existing wastewater treatment plant.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
