PL68 EFFLUENT FILTER CARTRIDGE WITH HOUSING
The PL-68 effluent filter is designed for residential waste flows up to 3,000 litres per day. It has 68 linear feet of 1/16' filter slots. It is designed to fit a septic tank outlet pipe. It can also be fitted with a snap in gas deflector to ensure any gas bubbles are deflected away from the filter. This filter is supplied with the housing.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
