The Contoil VZO 4 Mechanical Oil Meter is an industry recognised mechanical display meter, designed to measure small quantities of fuel oil consumption with great accuracy. The VZO4 oil meter is a low flow model suitable for use with domestic heating oil. This mechanical oil meter can be retrofitted to any existing boiler/burner systems and its versatility allows it to be installed indoors, outdoors, vertically, horizontally and diagonally.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
