The Cleanfill 2' Overfill Prevention Valve from Lafon can be fitted to a fuel tank as a piece of safety and environmental protection equipment. This overfill protection device can be used on fuel and diesel storage tanks that are filled by gravity flow or a pressure pump system. When the oil tank is full, the valve will close preventing any further fluid from being dispensed into the tank.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
