This Carbery 1350L Rectangular Potable Water Tanks is designed specifically for the storage of water is intended for human or animal consumption. These potable water tanks are manufactured from Medium Density Polyethylene and UV stabilised to protect against the damaging effects of sunlight, Carbery’s Potable Water Tank range is ideal for supply of water in emergency situations. This product also comes with a factory fitted manhole (190mm).

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
