Calpeda GX Zero Submersible Clean Water Pump
The Calpeda GX Zero Submersible water pump is a submersible drainage pump and clean water pump with a maximum head height of 9.8m and a maximum pumping rate of 100 l/min. This submersible pump is a single-impeller submersible pump made from chrome-nickel stainless steel with a vertical delivery port and suction non-return valve.
The motor is cooled by the pumped water passing between the motor jacket and the external jacket. The pump is fitted with a suction non-return valve which during operation. This allows the pump to be manually moved to several points in the room and draw water up to 1m avoiding the pump losing its priming.
Applications
- For clean water containing solids up to 3 mm grain size
- For draining rooms and or emptying tanks
- Extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits and for rainwater collection
- For irrigation purposes

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
