Calpeda GQS 50-15 Submersible Drainage Pump
The Calpeda GQS submersible drainage pump is a single-impeller submersible pump with a free-flow (vortex) impeller and with a vertical threaded delivery G2" port. This submersible sewage pump has a maximum head height of 15m and a maximum pump rating of 600 l/min.
Applications
- For domestic or industrial waste water, dirty water with solids up to 50 mm grain size, for liquids which are compatible with the pump materials
- For draining rooms or or emptying tanks
- Extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits and for rainwater collection

- Liquid temperature up to 35° C

Features
- G 2" vertical, upward delivery port for installation in small pits, without the need for an elbow on the pump
- Cable length 10 m, pump single-phase with plug

- Relief valve: the pump is fitted to a relief valve for air release around the impeller granting a proper pump priming also after long standstill periods

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
