Calpeda GQR 10-18 Submersible Drainage Pump
The Calpeda GQR submersible drainage pump is a single-impeller submersible drainage pump with a vertical delivery port with an open impeller. It has a double mechanical shaft seal with interposed oil chamber to protect against dry-running. This drainage pump has a maximum head height of 18m with a maximum pumping rate of 450 l/min.

- For clean water containing solids up to 10 mm grain size
- For draining rooms or or emptying tanks
- Extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits and for rainwater collection

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
