ACTIVATED CARBON COVER
These odour eliminating covers or activated carbon vents covers can prevent odour problems by removing offensive odours as they leave the tank. They allow the tank to vent while eliminating the potential for random foul odours. The specialised activated carbon filter media is integrated into the cover. It is easily replaceable as it is held in a unique filter media bag. This cover is designed for use with Polylok 600mm risers, adapter/frames, pump chambers and standard 600mm (24″) corrugated twin wall pipe. Replacement carbon can be purchased also.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
