What makes this OUTLET the right choice?
Acetal Tundish 15mm inlet/22m outlet
This tundish has been tested and found to comply with the requirements of the Water Supply Fittings Regulations 1999 for England and Wales, the Water Byelaws 2014, Scotland and the Water Regulations, Northern Ireland.
This Acetal Tundish safety aid on your hot water system will give you visual indictation of any leakage from the cylinder, indicating a higher than permissible temperature or pressure has been achieved, requiring immediate servicing or maintenance. Any leakage detected at the tundish should be dealt with promptly.
The new design prevents a finger from being placed under the stream of potentially very hot water and so – with the new clear plastic upper section - allows leakage to be detected but prevents accidental burning or injury.
Materials-
- Clear Top: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS PA758)
- Black bottom: Acetal Copolymer material (POM F20-03)
The top (inlet) is 15mm compression connection and the bottom (outlet) is 22mm compression.
Nuts and olives are supplied with the Tundish.
Care should be taken when tightening plastic nuts and olives as the threads can be damaged easily.
*The product meets the requirements of the Government G3 building regulations and installation has to comply with the diagram above
