5,000L Cylindrical Single Skin Over Ground Steel Oil Tanks are manufactured from 4mm plate steel. These Steel Diesel Tanks offer a safe and secure solution to diesel storage and distribution in any environment. These steel tanks are manufactured to B.S 799 Part 5 and pressure tested to 0.7 bar.
Tank comes with:
- 2 no. Lifting lugs for onsite installation
- Spill stop / Anti-Overfill Device
- 2" Fill pipe
- 2" / 1.5" Top Suction Outlets
- Spare Sockets
- 1 no. Raised Manhole
- 2 no. legs/ ground support
- Available in RAL Colours 6005 and 7016
Optional extras can be supplied on request such as anti-overfill pipes, cabinets, roller shutter doors, fill boxes and pipework. External pipe work i.e. fill pipes will be terminated at approx. waist height and the end of the pipe threaded.
Double and triple compartments can also be specified.
Contents gauges, monitoring systems, fuel management systems, flow meters, pumps and filters can also be supplied on request.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
