4" LOCKABLE OIL TANK LID
4" Lockable Oil Tank Inspection Cap in oil resistant polymer. Suitable for retrofit to Harlequin tanks incorporating an existing 4" Inspection Aperture and Screw Cap. Accepts key or combination padlocks providing a visible deterrent against fuel theft.
Supplied complete with:
- 4" Cap and brackets
- Self tapping screws
- Dipstick attachment point
Suitable for Harlequin tanks produced since Summer 1997 incorporating a 4" Inspection Cap. Supplied as standard on many Harlequin tank ranges produced on or after 1 August 2008.
May also be suitable for use with tanks from other manufacturers.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
