3P RAIN COLLECTOR WITH TAP
Simple rainwater diverter for filling rain tanks. Ideal for water butts.
The 3P Rain Collector's coarse filter separates clean rainwater from the debris coming off the roof. It is suitable for collecting rainwater from smaller roof areas (up to 50m2).
This rainwater filter fits all common downpipes from 68 mm to 100 mm and square downpipes 65mm x 65 mm and comes in brown or grey.
Principle of operation
1. Rainwater flows into the Rain Collector
2. Debris is stopped by the coarse filter.
3. Clean waters flows out of the 32 mm side outlet into the water tank.
4. Wastewater and debris continues flowing down the downpipe.
The inner filter element also holds the Rain Collector to the downpipe.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
