290 Litre BALANCE TANK
Ideal for use as an extra storage container for water. Can be used to store rainwater.
Manufactured from strong, durable, UV stabilised medium density polyethylene which will never rust, fade or require painting.
An access cap is located on top of unit which can be left sealed if required.
Optional supply the tank with a 1-inch BSP brass connection only.
The Balance Tank should be completely supported underneath. Concrete lintels are ideal and should protrude at least 2 Inches' past the tank on all sides.
Available in blue as standard - black can be ordered with 3-4 week lead time. Please contact us for request.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
