The Tanks.ie 2650 Litre (700 Gallon) Effluent Tank has been designed to the needs of the portable sanitation industry. Its low profile design allows it to be positioned alongside or underneath portable site accommodation, toilet blocks, kitchens, canteens and welfare units where discharge / treatment is not possible or mains connections aren't viable. Being very simple in design, a simple flat solid base is needed so very low install costs.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements

OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.

Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.

Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
