20,000L Rectangular Bunded Over Ground Steel Oil Tanks are manufactured from 3mm plate steel. These Bunded Steel Diesel Tanks offer a safe and secure solution to diesel storage and distribution in any environment. These bunded steel tanks are manufactured to B.S 799 Part 5 in 3mm S275 plate. The primary oil tank is contained within its own bunded area, with a capacity greater than 110%.
Tank comes with:
- 110% Bund Capacity
- Bolted manhole lid with gaskets
- Lifting lugs for onsite installation
- Fill Pipe
- Fill point cabinet fixed to tank
- Suction pipe
- Desludge pipe no top with socket
- 1 no. spare socket on top
- Inspection hatch into the bund
- 1/2" Socket beside bund hatch door
- Flame arrestor vent
- Primer and top coat of paint
Optional extras can be supplied on request such as anti-overfill pipes, cabinets, roller shutter doors, fill boxes and pipework. External pipe work i.e. fill pipes will be terminated at approx. waist height and the end of the pipe threaded.
Double and triple compartments can also be specified.
Contents gauges, monitoring systems, fuel management systems, flow meters, pumps and filters can also be supplied on request.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
