These filter housings are designed to fit to "BIG" filter cartridges with outer diameter from 4" to 4.5", inner diameter 1.1" and height at 20".
Applications:
- Filtration and treatment of water with neutral pH and drinking water.
- Domestic use: filtration and treatment of drinking water, protection of taps, boilers, washing machines, and other installations.
- Technical use: pre-filtration, micro-filtration; protection of pumps, heating systems, softeners, demineralising and chlorine-removing appliances, reverse osmosis units.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
