Collapsible Water Tank Information
The collapsible water tank is a highly-resistant and durable. This provides you with a tank that is well-equipped to safely store potable water. Pillow tanks offer a highly flexible tank structure that can be adapted to meet specific storage requirements or capacities. Typical capacities for these tanks range between 1000 and 200,000 Litres to help meet large and small storage requirements. When empty, the pillow tank lies flat and is then easily rolled up or folded for transportation. This flexible nature has increased the tank's ease of use making setup times fast and shipping costs low.
Water Quality:
With static water conditions there is a risk of a change in the quality of the physical, chemical and biological characteristics. Threats that may be in untreated water include microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria. The user must be made aware of the risk of contamination such as legionella. It is recommended where the stored water is contained for long periods the water is quality checked on a regular basis to ensure quality is maintained. It is recommended the Pillow Tanks are laid down on ground cleared of any sharp objects and on top of a Groundsheet. Groundsheets are available as an optional extra in Geotextile or PVC.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
