1400L DOUBLE WALLED UNDERGROUND OIL TANK
These Double Walled underground fuel oil storage tanks are a popular option for small gardens and sensitive landscapes. With a standard depth of 500mm, they offer optimum strength and performance for underground installation. A basin at the top of the tank neck contains a 2" fill point, offtake, contents gauge and overfill prevention valve, all of which are easily accessed via the lockable mushroom lid. A Tigerloop is also supplied with all underground fuel tanks. The Double Walled design is complete with an interstitial leak detection monitor and fully complies with PPG27 and BS5410.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
