This 1200 HQi bunded oil tank is an entry level range and is fully compliant with all fuel storage requirements and is suitable for the storage of heating oil. This oil tank is a bunded oil tank meaning that each tank benefits from a 'tank within a tank' design, which protects your valuable heating oil in the event of the inner tank splitting. Moulded from premium grade, oil resistant Medium Density Polyethylene. Harlequin HQi bunded oil tanks are a no-nonsense option and have been designed for customers who do not require the additional tank technology, as featured on Harlequin 'iTank' oil storage tanks.

- 33mm drilled and plugged gauging hole
- 2" Lockable Fill Point with Screw Cap
- 4" Lockable Inspection Aperture with Screw Cap
- Vent
- LRC Failsafe Overfill Prevention device
- 1" BSP Bottom Outlet
- Contents Dipstick
Not suitable for use as dispensing tanks.

Tail-lift deliveries are available for most tanks up to 2,500 Litre capacities for kerbside delivery subject to availability.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
