These underground water storage and cesspool tanks provide a reliable solution for the collection and retention of:
- Sewage (cesspool)
- Surface water
- Firefighting reservoirs
- Rainwater reservoirs
Delivered as a complete unit ready for installation, each storage tank must be installed in a level condition and bedded on, and surrounded with, 225mm thickness of concrete. Full installation instructions are provided with each unit, but are also available on request. A 'high level' alarm is available for monitoring the tank for optimum usage. For added safety, storage tanks can be supplied with a lockable manhole cover.
These cesspool tanks are simply holding tanks in which treatment does not take place. These cesspool tanks can also be supplied with special linings on request and can be used to store surface water contaminated with:
- Silage effluent
- Higher octane fuels
- Agricultural/ farm waste
*DELIVERY TERMS
All tanks are delivered on 45ft Flat-bed Articulated Trailers, so off-loading equipment on site is necessary.
HIAB off-loading is available at extra cost, if requested.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us, if off-loading equipment is required.
Please note that the septic tank option has two necks, one at the inlet and one at the outlet.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
